You heard me! How gross do you think that pole is that you are dancing on licking -er- holding onto for dear life as a handhold in the subway? THE QUESTION: When you are commuting to work, assuming you commute via public transport, how dirty do you think that pole is that you are holding onto for dear life?
That’s a great question with mixed answers. Some “real” tests say the answer is “not that dirty” and “it could be a lot worse.”
There are also the complete opposite reports out there… mainly that subway poles are gross indeed and you should beware even to think about placing a pinkie on those things!

Whether there IS or IS NOT a disgusting about of germs, bacteria, viruses, saliva or whatever on those subway poles, every person must have thought at one point or another, “I DO NOT WANT TO HOLD ON TO THAT SUBWAY POLE!”
